Unit of Forensic Photography

Forensic photography plays a key role in the post-mortem hall.

It serves to record the findings as they happen, as these may be destroyed naturally during the post-mortem examination, e.g. by removing tissue samples for histological examination.

The photos are used in court, but also in teaching, and contribute significantly to the illustration of complex forensic facts.
